Academics

We follow the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) syllabus, giving pupils a well-rounded education that brings together academics, activities beyond the classroom and the development of character.

The school is growing, and higher classes are being added.

The academic year

The academic year begins in April and ends in March of the following year, with breaks for summer and winter and holidays for festivals.

Learning with technology

Technology is part of how we teach. Pupils use the computer lab, lessons are supported with audio-visual material, and children are introduced to coding, digital art and the safe use of the internet through hands-on projects.

Keeping parents informed

Teachers follow each child’s progress closely and discuss it with parents at scheduled parent-teacher meetings.

Our approach

How we teach

The CBSE curriculum we follow is organised in line with the National Education Policy 2020: the Foundational Stage up to Grade II, the Preparatory Stage from Grades III to V and the Middle Stage from Grade VI.

01

Learning by doing

Activities, projects and models, so that children use what they learn.

02

Understanding first

Ideas are made clear before they are practised, not learned by rote.

03

Technology in class

Audio-visual lessons and the computer lab bring subjects to life.

04

The reading habit

Time with books in the school library, and an annual Book Fair.

05

Close attention

Teachers work closely with their pupils and follow each child’s progress.

06

Parents as partners

Scheduled parent-teacher meetings keep home and school working together.
