Syllabus
St. Xavier’s Public School, Haldia follows the curriculum of the CBSE – the Central Board of Secondary Education – from the pre-primary classes through to Grade VII.
Why CBSE
The CBSE curriculum is followed by schools across India. It is built on understanding rather than rote learning, gives equal place to languages, mathematics, the world around us, the arts and physical education, and prepares children steadily for each stage that follows. A child who moves to another city can continue in a CBSE school without a break in what is being taught.
At our school the syllabus is brought to life through interactive lessons, hands-on projects, the computer lab and the library, so that children understand and apply what they learn.
